As the President of the RVF, I am dedicated to providing all of our members with a future of job security, fair pay, and workplace rights. I also realize that a union that engages in leisure activities outside of work with each other only grows stronger and more powerful. After all, without the strength of its members and the belief in each other, there is no union. My goal as President is to help foster a better understanding and increased cooperation between our members, the administration, and the community.
The RVF is engaged in many school and community events to help achieve this goal. We have partnered with the local food pantry to help battle hunger in our community and we purchase books for our district’s youngest readers to start every year. We adopted a highway to help keep our community clean and beautiful. We provide food for our students that work the community blood drive, and we provide college scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
The RVF is not only dedicated to providing a better life for all of our members, but also to leading the Hudson Valley in our commitment to each other, our students and our community.
